INSECTUM
A collection of unique generative pieces that reinterpret traditional entomological boxes, showcasing imaginary species where illustration and personalized generative artificial intelligence converge.
The creative process merges art and technology by training a LoRA model with original illustrations, enabling the capture of these works’ distinctive visual style and generating images that construct a unique, contemporary visual language. Using the ComfyUI platform, the FLUX image generative model was integrated with the LoRA by designing precise prompts that expand both the piece’s visual and conceptual language. The result is an innovative exploration of a fictional universe where the imaginary and the artificial coexist in perfect synergy.
LoRA is a method used to fine-tune pre-existing AI models by training them on specific datasets—in this case, my illustrations. This approach allows for the generation of visuals that retain the aesthetic qualities of the original artwork while expanding them into new forms and levels of detail.
