Mexico is home to over 1,060 bird species, more than 10% of the world's total. This project is based on the georeferenced bird distribution database compiled by CONABIO and the Museo de Zoología, which includes over 250,000 records from literature and expert observations. I used this data to analyze species vulnerability across Mexican states, visualizing both the total number of vulnerable birds and their proportion relative to all recorded species in each region.
